I am a post-doc researcher at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the University of Pavia. My main research topics and activities focuses on the geological survey of Miocene-Pliocene deposits and integration with subsurface data of a portion of the Sheet CARG160 Pavia, and on the tectonic analysis, through the application of low-temperature thermochronology, of Miocene deposits belonging to the Bobbio Tectonic Window. I attended the PhD in structural geology at University of Bologna with a topic focused on the structural characterization of the wedge-top basins (Epiligurian units) for a syn-to-post-orogenic history reconstruction. The study consisted in a multidisciplinary and multiscalar approach (structural fieldwork, remote sensing analysis of lineaments through the elaboration of DEM images, geochronological and thermochronological analysis for the reconstruction of the uplift and burial history of the wedge-top basins.
